Anna Krumpos is a Bay Area based dancer, choreographer and visual artist. In 2016, she received a BFA in Dance and Minor in Arts Management from Dominican University of California/Alonzo King LINES BFA Program. She has performed works by Tanya Bello, Arturo Fernandez, Maurya Kerr, Sidra Bell, Gregory Dawson and Garrett Moulton Productions. Anna teaches at Marin Dance Theatre and coordinates the Dance Discovery Program through Dominican University.
Her visual art is a creative exploration of listening. Her process is characterized by harnessing spontaneity and chaos. She hears the images come alive as a whisper, a loud shout, or a melodic song. Her hope is that her paintings would encourage viewers to find wonder and attune their focus to seek mystery.
